Orthopedics Hawaii is a state-of-the-art orthopedic immediate/urgent care clinic. Our mission is to improve the lives and well-being of our patients through a customized treatment plan.
We are centrally located next to Straub Hospital in the First Insurance Center. We recommend scheduling an appointment by calling us. Please verify your insurance is in-network prior to your appointment. If you have an HMO plan please ask your doctor for a referral.

Ultrasound Guided Procedures
At Orthopedics Hawaii, ultrasound imaging can be used to see the bone, ligaments, tendons, and nerves in real-time. Ultrasound-guided procedures such as Carpal Tunnel release and Trigger Digit release are possible in the office with only local anesthetic.
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Sam Chen is the only surgeon in Hawaii performing this procedure. Dr. Chen's early association with the US carpal tunnel surgery originates from a close association with the specialists at Mayo Clinic. We began this in 2017 before any other major city or university.
In addition to Oahu residents, we have patients fly in from the neighboring islands and the US mainland for the procedure. Learn more here.
